Ag Skills for Every Producer

Ag Skills is an ongoing workshop series designed to build core farming skills through hands-on learning and instruction. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to sharpen your techniques, these classes cover essential topics like soil health, irrigation, efficient harvesting, livestock and grazing, marketing, and more—each class focuses on tangible skills necessary for farming success in the foothills. 

Classes are led by experienced farmers and agricultural professionals, offering practical insights and real-world strategies you can apply right away. Open to farmers, landowners, aspiring growers, and curious community members alike, Ag Skills is a great way to connect with others in the local farming community.

Ag Skills Season 2026

Teachers we have lined up for this season include livestock and commodity crop experts, soil health, irrigation, and agriculture professionals from UCCE, the Resource Conservation District, Restoration Land & Livestock, the Labor Movement, and more! For all of our classes, tickets are priced on a sliding scale starting at $5.
